KUALA LUMPUR — Homegrown jeweller Habib is actively expanding its business through the digital platform with the launch of its e-store at www.habibjewels.com in its efforts to improve the quality of services, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It said in a statement today the jeweller always put their customers first in line with their slogan ‘Gift of Happiness’ despite competition from local and international jewellery brands.
Habib said customers can now buy their jewellery online with safe and fast delivery, adding that the company would continue to provide the best service for its customers.
“After 63 years of being in business, the Habib brand remains iconic and inspiring by maintaining its legacy as the jewellery brand of choice for Malaysians with impeccable designs and superior services offered,” read the statement.
The company is currently led by its group executive chairman Datuk Seri Meer Sadik Habib with his wife Datin Seri Zarida Noordin as group executive director and has 30 showrooms and over 1,300 employees nationwide.
Habib runs its own programme to develop new talents in company management called Graduate Excellence Management School, it added.
Established in 1958 by the late Datuk Habib Mohamed Abdul Latif, the family-owned company began operating its first boutique in Pitt Street, which is famous for its row of gold shops in Penang.
It said under Meer Sadik’s leadership, the Habib Group has also spread its wings by introducing several brands including the Hearts on Fire, World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond, Pandora and Ice-Watch.
