myFirst, the creator of one of the world’s first kids’ tech ecosystems, has launched its first dual flagship stores in Malaysia, marking a milestone in the brand’s retail expansion and bringing its integrated ecosystem of connected, creative and child-friendly technology to life through a new experiential concept for families.
The two myFirst Experience Stores in Sunway Pyramid and IOI City Mall bring the brand’s growing ecosystem of kids’ technology into a hands-on retail environment designed around play, exploration and family engagement.
The launch reflects growing momentum for purpose-built children’s technology in Malaysia and reinforces myFirst’s commitment to making safe, age-appropriate and creativity-driven tech more accessible to families.
“Malaysia is an important growth market for myFirst, and these first dual flagship stores represent an exciting step in deepening how we engage with families here,” said G-Jay Yong, CEO and Founder at myFirst. “We wanted to create more than a retail store — we envisioned an experience centre where parents and children can explore firsthand how technology can support safety, creativity and meaningful connection.”
A New Retail Experience for Families

Unlike traditional electronics retail, the myFirst Experience Stores are designed as interactive experience centres featuring dedicated zones that bring the brand’s ecosystem to life.
- At Connect, families can explore the myFirst Circle app and FONE smartwatch series, experiencing calling, video calls and GPS-enabled safety features.
- At Capture, children can discover creative photography through myFirst’s instant print cameras, encouraging exploration through their own lens.
- At Create, hands-on activities with the myFirst 3D Pen inspire imagination, creativity and learning through play.
- At Care, families can experience wellness-focused innovations including the myFirst CareBuds Max, featuring the world’s first transparency mode designed for children, allowing kids to enjoy immersive audio while staying aware of their surroundings.
Designed for parents with young children, the experience stores address growing demand for technology that supports child safety, communication and creative development in a trusted digital environment.
Building Momentum in Malaysia’s Growing Kids’ Tech Category
The launch builds on myFirst’s expanding presence in Malaysia through online channels and retail partners. As awareness and demand for child-focused technology continue to grow, the new stores offer families an immersive way to engage with products designed specifically for children.

“We believe children should experience technology in ways that are safe, inspiring and age-appropriate,” added G Jay. “Through these stores, we hope to help families discover what connected technology designed for kids can truly look like.”
