G Hotel Penang has named Bernard Krishnan as the new Director of Food and Beverage. With an illustrious career spanning over 15 years in the hospitality industry, Bernard brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the esteemed establishment.

Bernard has earned a reputation for excellent leadership and unequalled inventiveness by cultivating his expertise across various renowned establishments. His interest in the food and beverage industry was inspired by the iconic movie “Cocktail”. Since then, Bernard has continued to push the boundaries of gastronomic artistry by providing unique experiences for discerning guests.

He is passionate and has a hands-on leadership style, along with a plethora of ideas and innovations, as well as international expertise in food and beverage, which will serve us all well here in our Penang food paradise,” said G Hotel General Manager, Michael Hanratty.

Bernard began his hospitality career over 15 years ago, starting out in the food and beverage space before growing into his first role as acting general manager of the Novotel Danang Premier Han in Vietnam in year 2020 to 2022. He has spent much of his career with the Sofitel brand, working in Macau, Cambodia, and Philippines, with his latest role as EAM of the Intercontinental Mauritius Resort.

As Director of Food and Beverage, Bernard will oversee all food and beverage operations, focusing on innovation, creativity, and providing extraordinary culinary experiences for guests.
